Provides overall leadership for Garfield Community Website Inc, chairs committee meetings, and represents the organisation in key discussions with community partners and stakeholders. The President helps set priorities, ensures decisions follow our constitution, and supports other committee members in their roles.
Supports the President and steps into the role when the President is unavailable. The Vice President may lead specific projects, working groups or partnerships, helping ensure continuity of leadership and effective communication within the association.
Responsible for the association’s records and official correspondence. The Secretary prepares agendas with the President, records minutes of meetings, keeps the membership register up to date, manages notices of meetings and maintains key governance documents.
Oversees the finances of Garfield Community Website Inc, including budgeting, banking, payments and financial reporting. The Treasurer prepares regular financial reports for the committee and ensures that accounting records and reporting meet our legal and audit obligations.
Ordinary members support the work of the office bearers and contribute to committee decisions. They may take on specific portfolios such as website content, partnerships with associated organisations, communications, or community engagement projects.
