Garfield Community Website Inc is an incorporated, not‑for‑profit community organisation established to support local residents, community groups and visitors with accessible online information about the West Gippsland Rail Towns.

Our governance framework is based on clear responsibilities, accountable decision‑making and transparency. The committee is elected by members, operates under our constitution and relevant Victorian legislation for incorporated associations, and is responsible for overseeing the organisation’s strategy, compliance and financial sustainability.

Our organisation is also registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.

Provides overall leadership for Garfield Community Website Inc, chairs committee meetings, and represents the organisation in key discussions with community partners and stakeholders. The President helps set priorities, ensures decisions follow our constitution, and supports other committee members in their roles.

Supports the President and steps into the role when the President is unavailable. The Vice President may lead specific projects, working groups or partnerships, helping ensure continuity of leadership and effective communication within the association.
